BLAST Day Camp

BLAST Day Camp Grades K-5 – School Breaks

BLAST Day Camps offer elementary students opportunities to participate in organized gym games, crafts, and free play that help them increase social skills and enjoy active play in a safe and caring environment. Camps are supervised by current BLAST leaders.

Dates, Time, and Location

• Teacher’s Convention: October 16 and 17, 2025
• Christmas Break: December 26, 29, 30, and 31, 2025
• 7:30am-6:00pm daily
• World War Memorial Building, 215 N. 6th St.

Need to Know

• For grades K-5
• Lunch and snacks are not provided. Please send two snacks and a lunch for your child(ren) daily.

Fee

• $25 per child per day
• Cancellations received after deadlines will not be refunded.

Registration Details

• Registration is first-come, first-served. Space is limited to 70 students per day.
• Priority registration for current BLAST participants opens September 11 at 8:00am for both camps.

Teacher’s Convention

• Registration opens: September 22 at 8:00am
• Registration deadline: October 3 at 5:00pm
• Cancellation deadline: October 10 at 5:00pm

Christmas Break

• Registration opens: November 21 at 8:00am
• Registration deadline: December 12 at 5:00pm
• Cancellation deadline: December 19 at 5:00pm

Two-Step Registration Process

• Step One: Register your child online or in person at the BPRD office, 400 E. Front Ave.
• Step Two: Complete the fillable PDF below or pick up a paper packet from the BPRD office. Submit a completed packet for each child to the BPRD office or email it within 48 hours of registering. Once your packet is received, your child’s registration is complete.
  • Download the Day Camp Packet (fillable PDF) to your device. Do not fill it out in a web browser or the information entered will not be saved.
  • Complete the form using Adobe Reader and save it to your device (using a smartphone PDF reader may result in unreadable text).
  • Email the completed packet to Spencer.
