Outdoor fitness equipment offers a great way to get active in our parks. Step-by-step instructions are available on the equipment or through QR codes.



Location: Jaycee Centennial Park, 321 E. Century Ave. (access from the parking lot on North 4th Street)
AARP teamed up with the nonprofit FitLot to bring an outdoor fitness space to all 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands. Bismarck was chosen as the North Dakota location.Â




Location: Horizon Park, 4800 Durango Dr.
The 0.33-mile paved shared use loop trail includes three exercise machines: chest press, captain’s chair, and accessible handcycle.





Location: Kiwanis Park, 318 S. Washington St.
The 0.6-mile paved shared use loop trail includes two active benches and four exercise machines: captain’s chair, chest press, elliptical, and leg press.




Location: Sertoma Park, 300 Riverside Road (next to the tennis/pickleball courts at the south end of the park)Â
In addition to the FitLot, there are two active benches and an obstacle course for ages 5+.
