Soccer – Youth

Youth Coed Soccer Grades K-9 – Summer

Coed youth soccer is a recreational program that teaches the fundamentals, skills, and sportsmanship of the game. These basics include passing, dribbling, shooting, and teamwork. Participants will learn through drills, scrimmages, and games. Win/loss records are not kept. Our emphasis is on equal play time, and most of all, FUN!

Dates, Times, and Locations

June 2-July 24, 2025

  • Grades K-1 and 2-3: 6:30-7:30pm
  • Grades 4-6 and 7-9: 7:45-8:45pm
  • Cottonwood Park, 2506 12th St. SE: Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Horizon Middle School, 500 Ash Coulee Dr.: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Need to Know

  • Teammate Request Form: May 19 deadline (teammates not guaranteed)
  • Participants are required to purchase and wear shin guards, and metal cleats are not allowed. Sunscreen and water bottles are strongly suggested. All other gear, such as soccer balls, cones, and nets, are provided.
  • No jewelry during practices or games (no taping). Exceptions are medical bracelets or medical necklaces taped to the chest inside of shirts.

Registration and Fees

  • $65 per player – if received on or before May 9
  • $75 per player – if received May 10 or later
  • Register for grade entering in fall 2025.
  • Register for Horizon if you live north of Divide Avenue and Cottonwood if you live south of Divide. Grades 7-9 only play at Cottonwood.
