Rental of Courts, Fields, Pools, and Rinks

Bismarck Parks and Recreation provides rental opportunities for groups and organizations to use spaces in our facilities and parks for events and ongoing activities. For individual use, please see facility pages for details.

Court Rentals

Capital Racquet & Fitness Center

Rental spaces at CRFC include tennis/pickleball courts and racquetball/wallyball courts. See below for fitness studio and KidZone. Call 701-221-6855.

  • Tennis/Pickleball Court Tournament: four courts for 12 hours for $750 or 6 hours for $375
  • Event/Group Single Court: $15 per hour with minimum of four hours
  • Racquetball/Wallyball Court Tournament: four courts for 12 hours for $500 or 6 hours for $250

Outdoor Volleyball Courts

Outdoor sand volleyball courts may be reserved for $20 per day. Contact Ethan by email or call 701-415-0464 for questions or to reserve courts.

World War Memorial Building

Rental spaces at WWMB include basketball/volleyball courts, community room, and fitness room. Call 701-222-6454.

Parking is available at nearby parking ramps with limited street parking. There is limited availability of tables and chairs.

  • Main or Lower Gym: $40 per hour per court
  • Main Gym (88 feet x 98 feet): $700 per day
  • Lower Gym (75 feet x 45 feet): $400 per day
  • Community Room (24 feet x 89 feet): $40 per hour
  • Fitness Room (36 feet x 81 feet): $40 per hour

Field Rentals

Baseball/Softball Fields

Check calendars for field availability, and then contact Ethan by email or call 701-415-0464. 

Fore Seasons Center

Rental spaces at FSC include indoor turf fields, golf driving bays, and batting cages. Check the calendar for availability and call 701-223-3600.

Turf fields must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.

  • One field (150 feet by 69 feet): $80 per hour
  • Two fields (150 feet by 139 feet): $160 per hour
  • Three fields (150 feet by 208 feet): $210 per hour

Fitness Studio & KidZone Rentals

Capital Racquet & Fitness Center

  • Fitness Studio (40 feet by 40 feet): $30 per hour (includes sound system)
  • KidZone: $2 per child

BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center

Rental spaces at AWC include fitness studio and meeting rooms. See below for pools. Call 701-751-4266.

  • Fitness Studio (38 feet by 30 feet): $30 per hour (includes sound system)

Pool Rentals

BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center

Rental spaces at AWC include indoor pools, fitness studio, and meeting rooms. Call 701-751-4266.

  • Fitness Studio (38 feet by 30 feet): $30 per hour (includes sound system)
  • Entire Natatorium Pool: $200 per hour (spectator seating for 750)
  • Competition Pool-Long Course: $150 per hour
  • Competition Pool-Short Course
    • Pool 1 (8-lane): $125 per hour
    • Pool 2 (6-lane): $100 per hour
  • Program Pool: $100 per hour
  • Diving Bay: $100 per hour (only available during short course season)

Outdoor Pools

All outdoor pools are available for private rentals after public hours. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance during the outdoor pool season June through mid-August. Call 701-712-8918.

Rink Rentals at Ice Complexes

Fees

  • Ice: $120 per hour (limited availability)
  • Dry Floor: $50 per hour or $600 per day for hockey rink
  • Dry Floor Commercial: $1,200 per day
  • Curling Rink Dry Floor: $500 per day

How to Rent Ice

  1. Check ice availability on online calendars: CIC or VFW.
  2. Call 701-221-6814.
  3. Payment is due when you rent the ice, unless you have a long-term user agreement.
  4. Waivers must be signed in your online account or in person at the BPRD office prior to your reservation date.
